About
Daniel Cannington is a singer songwriter from the deep heart of South Georgia. Growing up in the rural town of Cairo, a city well known for its hospitality and southern roots.

From an early age, Daniel felt drawn to music. Whether it was riding with his dad, singing along to an Alabama cassette or listening to the church choir sing gospel songs on Sunday mornings, music was a huge part of his life and always seemed to move him. He enjoyed music of all types, but his roots were embedded in Country and Rock; artists like Alan Jackson, George Strait, The Eagles, and Tom Petty.
Daniel started playing the piano as a child after seeing his father play. He soon began singing in the church choir and performing in church on a regular basis. He started playing guitar when he was 13 and soon discovered his passion for writing songs. After being inspired by a youth group trip to Nashville, Tennessee, he decided to start his own band.
After putting in years of practice and hard work, his band began to perform on a regular basis, playing shows across the Southeast. Upon graduating High School, he would go on to attend the University of Georgia and earn a degree in Business Administration from the Terry College of Business. While in college he continued to hone his craft by writing and playing music.

After graduating college in May of 2013, he was faced with a dilemma; move back home or follow his dreams. Upon much thought and consideration he decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee, to build his music career. Since moving to Nashville, Daniel continues to write songs and perform on a regular basis. He has never looked back and knows he made the right decision.
